Our Core Values
Thursday, November 28, 2024
Recently, your LOCAL fire pro team realized that we needed to define our purpose. We needed to define, in a concise way, who we are and what we stand for. So we went on a vision quest, sort of.
What we learned is that most of the companies that we admire have core values. They live these core values every day in every interaction.
Core values is the set of ethics and principles that govern a company's decision making and actions. They serve as the foundation for the company culture, and the behaviors expected by its team members and customers.
Why Are Core Values Important?
Core values shape a company's culture and vision, and guide decision-making. They improve team cohesion by creating a sense of purpose and commitment in the workplace. When employees understand the company's core values, they are more likely to make decisions that align with the company's goals. Candidates for hire who share the company's values are more likely to be a good fit and stay with the company. Core values can help a company quickly communicate its principles to customers and clients. They help customers understand what to expect when doing business with the company.
